How strange. I could have sworn that I had been falling not long ago. After all, I distinctly remember the ground collapsing beneath my feet and the feeling of my heart climbing into my throat as gravity pushed down on me. I can remember that disconcerting emotion of fear when I wondered what awaited me when I stopped. Sometime during all of this confusion I can recall Allen's alarmed face, frozen into a horrified mask of shock as his efforts to help me were in vain. I can even remember the sound that my Innocence made as it shattered, resonating a broken lament of defeat. Which brings me back to my fall. Falling backwards to an unknown place which more than likely was the afterlife, the pieces of the downloaded ark falling to pieces around me... Prepared for the worst, I was surprised when I found neither pain nor anguish. There was no long tunnel either. But there was a bright light that I was now staring into. It was the blue sky on a beautiful day. The birds that flew over my head were chirping merrily in the sunlight. I could only stare up at it in wonderment. I found myself lying on the ground in the middle of some sort of park. This didn't look like Edo at all.... How strange, indeed. Tags: waking up Current Location: a park Current Mood: confused
